Highlight of Sapa Market Tour

Night 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
Pick up from hotel for the night train at 20:30 PM to get to Lao Cai Station.
The train departs at 21:50PM.
Overnight on train in shared sleeping compartment (2 upper & 2 lower berth in per compartment). Private compartment with 2 passengers in per compartment on request at surcharge.

Day 1 (Saturday): Can Cau - Bac Ha (B,L)
6:30AM: Picked up at Lao Cai Train Station to transfer to Can Cau market
It takes more than 2 hours to get to Can Cau - a small market situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and only 7 km from China.
The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing boys and girls in colorful costumes - different colors of the mountains. They attend the market in the hope of finding "the other halves of their life" and this is also the time for them to chat, to exchange everything among different ethnic peoples through cups of wine sold in the market. Have lunch in Can Cau. After lunch, we transfer to Bac Ha. Check in hotel in Bac Ha. Free to explore the town.

Day 2 (Sunday): Bac Ha Market - Sapa(B,L)
Have breakfast and the beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy Bac Ha people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation.
Around 10:30AM, leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (Ban Pho village). Say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Sapa. Reach Sapa late in the afternoon. Check in hotel in Sapa.

Day 3 (Monday): Trek Lao Chai – Tavan - Sapa (B,L)
Have breakfast in hotel and driving from Sapa town down to Lao Chai village. View of Muong Hoa valley and manificient surrounding of moutain range can be seen from this road. Along the road, we also meet many ethnic minoriy groups (H'mong, Red Dao..). Then turning off the main road and taking a local path to reach Lao Chai village. Continue walking from Lao Chai to Tavan village where the Day hill tribe live. Take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by local family. After lunch, we walk to the meeting point to transfer back Sapa. The rest of day is at leisure. Overnight in Sapa Town.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Coc Ly market - Night train to Hanoi (B,L)
We leave hotel at 6:30 AM to transfer to Coc Ly tribal market, which takes places on every Tuesday morning and is one of the rare moutain market weekly in the north. You have chance to meet H'mong and Red Dao minority in their colorful costumes. Then leave the market and take a boat trip along Chay River with a picnic lunch. Enjoy scenic view from the river and take a walk to Trung Do village where Flower H'mong ethnic live.
Disembark and drive to Lao Cai Station for night train to Hanoi.
The train departs at 21:50PM and arrives Hanoi at 5:30AM in the morning.
