Itinerary
Day 1 : Yangon Arival and City Tour (L)
On Arrival our tour guide will pick you up and Transfer you to the Hotel. Tour begins with visit to one of the must see Myanmar cultural heritage-Sule pagoda; magnificently stands high (46 meters) with its gilded gold, glistering in the midst of rising buildings right in the center of Yangon.
Proceed to Nearby Maha Bandoola Park, the Yangon City Hall and the High Court. The park is named after General Maha Bandula who fought against the British in the First Anglo-Burmese War (1824–1826), and includes the Independence Monument, an obelisk in commemoration of Burmese independence from the British in 1948.
After that stop at Scott's market (also known as Bogyoke Aung San market. (Note: Market is closed on Mondays and public holidays). Then visit Botahtaung Pagoda. At Botahtaung Pagoda, there is also a powerful spirit called Rohanni Bo Bo Gyi, many people come to worship and pay offerings to this Bo Bo Gyi for the live success.
Continue to Great Shwe Dagon where all that glisters is gold. Marvel at gigantic stupa all covered with gold. Walk round main stupa and explore numbers of smaller stupas and shrines all in gold. See numbers of devotees offering flowers, joss sticks or water to Buddha, meditating or telling beads in total serenity and some reciting Buddha's discourse in unison.
Day 2 : Yangon – Bago – Yangon (B,L)
After breakfast, drive to Bago (Pegu) (about 3 hours drive). The first visit will be to Kyat Khat Wine monastry where your eyes will be catched to the scene of offering alms food to thousand of monks.
, drive to “Shwe Maw Daw" pagoda It is 375 feet in height and was built by the Monk supposedly to hold two hairs of the Buddha. Lunch
After lunch, proceed to 55m (180 ft) long and a height of 16m (52 ft) reclining Budddha image "Shwe Tha Lyaung". visit to four faced “Kyaik Pun”; the home to the Four Seated Buddha shrine, a 90 ft (27 m) statue depicting the four Buddhas namely Kakusandha, Konagamana, Kassapa, and Gautama seated in four positions, sitting back to back to four directions, proceed to replica palace “Kanbawzathadi Palace” of King Bayinnaung, visit weaving factory in Mon Village and then drive back to Yangon. Overnight stay in Yangon.
Day 3 : Yangon – Hpa An (B,L)
8h00 We leave for Hpa An, a picturesque town lie on the eastern bank of Thanlywin river. The town itself is famous for its multiple caves of beautiful wood and limestone carving. Driving hour from Yangon to Hpa An is approximately 5:30hr - 6:00hr. Upon arrival at Hpa An, we will get to the local teahouse for a few minute rest and start the tour by visiting to river side Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda, you will learn why the city name is Hpa An and history of Hpa An at the pagoda.
Climb up to Zwegabin Moutain visit Kawt Ka Thaung Cave; a cave covered with bathroom tiles and numerous Buddha statues. visit to Kyauk Ka Lat Temple. We will take you to enjoy the sunset view at Kan Thar Yar Lake. Overnight stay at hotel in Hpa An.
Day 4 : Hpa An – Yangon (B,L)
After breakfast at hotel, check out of hotel and leave for het Saddan Cave; Saddan means Royal Elephant and there are 2 stone elephants at the base of the stairway leading up to the cave. It is an enormous cave with a reclined Buddha and other religious monuments There is an impressive chamber at the end with a huge stalagmite illuminated by daylight.
Drive to Kawtgon Cave; natural lime stone cave that the rock surface is profusely decorated with diffent kinds of clay Buddha images and votive tablets.
After that, we will visit to Bayin Nyi Cave with hot spring. then drive to Tha Hton pagoda in Tha Hton city. After a visit to Kyaik Hto Golden Glass Pagoda. Drive back to Yangon. Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
Day 5 : Yangon (B,L)
After breakfast, the first visit will be to National Museum; national museum of Burmese art, history and culture in Myanmar ,Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, known for its enormous 65 meters long Reclining Buddha image. The highly revered image is housed in a large shed North of Kandawgyi Lake.
Then, drive to Kyauktawgyi Pagoda; where houses a 25 feet (7.6 m) feet tall Buddha called the Loka Chantha Abhaya Labha Muni which is carved out of a single piece of white marble quarried in Sagyin Hill, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. The image weighs approximately 560 tons. The Buddha is carved making the abhayamudra, the gesture of fearlessness. and pay a visit to White Elephants just near by to Kyauktawgyi Pagoda.
After that visit Buddha's Tooth Relice Pagoda, Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, Maha Pasana Cave. Overight stay in Yangon.
Day 6 : Yangon Departure (B)
Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure
