Promoting Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa destination, appealing major visitor markets is a new decision issued by Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Tourism to coordinate with Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and relevant departments and agencies to implement the project. The funding for the project is VND5.65 billion, including VND4.65 billion from the State budget for the tourism development program and VND1 billion from the community participation.
According to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, the project is to promote Khanh Hoa tourism brand in line with national and regional tourism development goals and orientation to enhance Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism brand with the tourist attraction potentials; and appeal major and new visitor markets to improve its position in the national tourism industry. In particular, Khanh Hoa tourism brand is developed on the basis of synchronous development of tourism brands in 3 key regions, namely Nha Trang, Northern Cam Ranh peninsula tourist area and Van Phong, linked with the development of business brands and specific tourism products.
The project’s targets are Khanh Hoa tourism brand will be widely recognized in key markets by 2025; and a popular brand with the position improved in world competitiveness rankings and maximum promotion of sea and island tourism values by 2030. In addition, the project also aims to raise awareness and action on tourism brand promotion among State tourism management agencies, businesses and residents; attract social resources in tourism promotion, etc.
In the 2021 – 2025 period, the project will focus on taking a wide variety of measures to achieve 3 main targets of building the awareness of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism brand, raising brand awareness and motivating the choice of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa destination.
