Overview
Measuring 40 meters long and 8,5 meters wide, our custom-built wooden junk features three decks, all outfitted with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to Passenger Cabins, with sleeping space for 30 people. The Reception, Restaurant, the Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, which is perfect for our morning Tai Chi classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails.
Guests are welcome to make use of our binoculars, snorkeling equipment, and top-of-the-line Canadian made Seaward kayaks.
Restaurant
A pleasant ambiance, attentive staff and great views make our restaurant the perfect place to sample the exotic delights of Vietnamese cuisine. Guests can look forward to lavish international breakfast buffets, casual, sit-down lunches of Vietnamese dishes, and formal dinners with delectable fusion cuisine. All dishes are prepared to please both the eye and the palate. Special BBQ dinners are served on the Sundeck on weekends, or upon a group’s request.
Finding Precious Gems
At Halong Bay’s pearl farm, passengers will learn more about one of the productive and unique businesses of the region. Locals harvest pearls around the floating village of Cua Van and refine them into fantastic pieces of jewellery; totally one-of-a-kind and a great memento for any Halong Bay cruise. After learning about the entire process of pearl production and visiting the shop, passengers can take kayaks into the area surrounding the farm to see some of Halong’s most dramatic scenery.
Discovering Mystical Caves
While much of Halong Bay’s beauty is projected for the world to see, some of its most pristine geology is hidden deep within its limestone maze. The caves of Halong Bay hold much mysticism and local legend – and none more so than Sung Sot Cave, the biggest in the entire Halong area. A guide will show you through the huge chambers of the cave while relaying the ancient stories attached to its magnificent rock interior.
On the second day of our 3-day itinerary, our luxury Halong Bay cruise moors beside Luon Cave, which passengers can explore via kayak. This is a corridor of water that flows beneath overhanging stalactites, both of which create one of the most magical atmospheres available on any Halong Bay activity.
Kayaking
As grand and expansive as Halong Bay may feel, it is always capable of a beautiful intimacy at close quarters. Kayaking is one of the best activities in Halong Bay to explore this perspective of the seascape and feel the magic of its towering limestone peaks beside you.

Squid fishing at night
Try your hand at squid fishing and to see how you’d fare in theday of a local. This ancient practice was vital in supporting localfishing communities for centuries on the waters of Ha Long Bay.With the help and knowledge of our staff, relax for some slowevening entertainment. Squid fishing is most successful aftersunset as you can lure the squid towards your bait by using alight provided by Indochina Sails. Reel in your catch and if youdo it in time, the on-board kitchen team can whip you up asquid-based treat.
Unwinding with Tai Chi
Greet the morning sun in Halong Bay on the sundeck, where a class of tai chi is held around every sunrise. Our onboard tai chi teacher will display the techniques necessary to reach total relaxation as the sunlight stretches across the wooden deck, bestowing a unique atmosphere and later memories of Halong Bay’s meditative beauty.
Our morning tai chi class is a favorite amongst our guests. Originating in ancient China, tai chi is an effective exercise forthe health of one’s mind, body and soul. This martial art is perfect for beginners and is fast gaining popularity. The low-impact exercise doubles as complementary therapy, reducing physical stress on the joints and tissues of the body. As a mindful form of exercise, when performing tai chi in an environment as beautiful as ha long bay, the benefits are even greater.
Kicking Back on the Beach
