January-Great time to go to SE Asia and visit intriguing Places
My wife and I completed a three-country tour in January 2026 with WaytoVietnam beginning in Southern Thailand, then Northern Vietnam, and ending in Cambodia. This was our first trip to Vietnam; we were in other parts of Thailand and Cambodia ten years earlier. Highlights were Khao Sok National Park, Krabi and Phuket beaches, trekking in ethnic mountain villages in the vicinity of Sapa and cruising Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, and relaxing at a beach resort on Koh Rong Island off the south coast of Cambodia. The accommodations were superb. Huong, the tour coordinator, gave us a detailed itinerary and responded to any questions promptly during the trip which progresses very well. We had to pay tour included park and boat fees at one location but Huong reimbursed us quickly. The was a wonderful trip for my wife and I. It was so great to have mostly sunshine away from rainy weather at home in Seattle, Washington.
