Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta Tour from Philippines

22h30: Ready at Manila Airport for the flight 5J-751 at 22h35 to Ho Chi Minh City. 0h25 next day, arrive at Tan Son Nha Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be picked by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in the City Center, check in.

8h00 : Our tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 100 kms South East of HCMC, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is  decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic mix of colours and the amazing use of architecture create a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavour to western palates.

11h45 : The Temple opens, We get in the temple find your best place to see the inside finest
12h00 : Take part in the Ceremony
12h30 : Transfer to Cu Chi for Lunch at a local restaurant
14h00 :After you have a lunch, We start visiting the Cu Chi Tunnel Complex,  This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquered the area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking.
16h00 : Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, arrive at your hotel around 18h00 Depend on the traffic, time at leisure.

8:00 AM Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City  and depart for My Tho. Take a leisurely boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal which is bordered by traditional stilt houses and fruit plantation. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle: coconut candy making, after trekking through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son island, enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motor boat.  We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine before heading back to Ho Chi Minh in the afternoon.
