Itinerary
Day 1: Manila – Ho Chi Minh City
22h30: Ready at Manila Airport for the flight 5J-751 at 22h35 to Ho Chi Minh City. 0h25 next day, arrive at Tan Son Nha Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be picked by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in the City Center, check in.
Day 2: Cu Chi and Cao Dai Temple (B,L)
8h00 : Our tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 100 kms South East of HCMC, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic mix of colours and the amazing use of architecture create a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavour to western palates.

12h30 : Transfer to Cu Chi for Lunch at a local restaurant
14h00 :After you have a lunch, We start visiting the Cu Chi Tunnel Complex, This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquered the area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking.
16h00 : Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, arrive at your hotel around 18h00 Depend on the traffic, time at leisure.
Day 3: Mekong Delta full day (B,L)
8:00 AM Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and depart for My Tho. Take a leisurely boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal which is bordered by traditional stilt houses and fruit plantation. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle: coconut candy making, after trekking through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son island, enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motor boat. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine before heading back to Ho Chi Minh in the afternoon. Arrive at your hotel around 18h00
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Departure (B,L)
08h00: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel for the city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. First visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam before 30 April 1975, next to that is the Notre Dame Cathedral, Sai Gon Central Post Office, the City Hall a stop at lacquer ware workplace.
After that we drive to visit China Town, Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market
12h00: Lunch in a restaurant
13h30: After lunch We continue to visit the War Remnant Museum where there is a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people. We continue to visit Museum of Vietnam History to discover about the rich history of Vietnam then end the tour at Ben Thanh Market Where you can find everything on sales and try many kinds of the local food
22h00: Transfer to the airport for the fllight 5J-752 at 1h10 next day back to Manila
5h05 am: Arrive at Manila Airport and back home by yourselves, end of the trip.
