Sapa markets Exploring - Can Cau & Bac Ha Market
This tour is to visit 2 famous markets near Sapa : Can Cau & Bac Ha Market. The valleys surrounding Sapa are home to several of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects which can all be seen at the weekend markets in Sapa area. Can Cau Market is a small, but very colourful market, set in the mountains near the Chinese border.

Itinerary
Night 1: Ha Noi - Night train to Lao Cai
20:30 pick up at the hotel. Transfer to railway station for a night train SP3 at 21:50PM.
App. Accommodation: Overnight train with 4 people in 1 cabin (2 people in 1 cabin upon request at surcharge).
Day 1 (Saturday): Lao Cai - Can Cau Market - Bac Ha (B,L)
Upon arrival (6:00AM), our guide will pick you up at Lao Cai Train Station and transfer to Can Cau market. It takes more than 2 hours to get to Can Cau - a small market situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and only 7 km from China.
The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing boys and girls in colorful costumes - different colors of the mountains.
Have lunch in local restaurant. After lunch we drive to Bac Ha. On the way, spend time visiting a village of the Flower H'mong and then check in hotel in Bac Ha. Free to explore the town.

Day 2 (Sunday): Bac Ha - Sapa
After breakfast in hotel, walk to Bac Ha Market. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy Bac Ha people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation. Leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch
In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (Ban Pho village). Say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Sapa. Reach Sapa late in the afternoon. Check in hotel in Sapa.

Day 3: Lao Chai - Tavan - Giang Ta Chai - Night train to Hanoi
After breakfast in hotel, our driver takes you to Lao Chai Village. From there you trek along Muong Hoa River on the side of Hoang Lien Mountain range to visit some village of H’mong minority (Lao Chai) and Dzay minority (Tavan).
Have picnic lunch there. After lunch we continue trek through rice field to Giang Ta Chai village where Red Dzao people living, you can see the different in customes between Lao Chai – Tavan and Giang Ta Chai villages.
After that, trek to the main road where our car will take you back to Sapa
15h00: Limousine bus transfer back to Hanoi
20h30: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi, end of the trip
