Muong Hoa Valley in Sapa
Muong Hoa valley is one of the most beautiful places in Sapa, It's about 4 kms from Sapa Center and stretching about 15 kms to Ban Ho Village, There are five main villages on this Valley : Y Ninh Ho Village, Lao Chai Village, Ta Van Village, Giang Ta Chai Village and Ban Ho Village in the end of the Valley. Four Hilltribes : Black HMong Tribe, Day Tribe, Red Dao Tribe and Tay Tribe living in these villages on the 2 banks of Hoa Stream ( or Suoi Hoa in Vietnamese) running along the Valley
Muong Hoa Valley
Muong Hoa valley is famous for its yellow terraced fields, which have been recognized as Vietnam’s largest terraced fields by the Vietnam Guinness Book. The best time to visit this place is the end of September, All the terraces are covered by yellow rice fields
Muong Hoa Valley is also famous for trekking tours on the footpaths through paddy fields and villages, homestay tours to local villages, staying in Local houses of the hill tribes, discover the culture and the custom of the hill tribes.

As you know Muong Hoa Valley is very famous for Its terrace rice fields and breathtaking picturesque landscapes of Hoang Lien Mountain with the highest peak Fansipan Mountain (3143 meters above the sea level, the highest mountain in South East of the Asia) so trekking along the Valley is a great chance to enjoy and capture these beauties
From Sapa you can start the trekking trip down to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black HMong minority then trekking along the Valley to Lao Chai Village of the Black HMong minoriy, continue to Ta Van Village of the Day Minoriy, for 2 day or 3 day Sapa trekking tours, You can continue trekking to Giang Ta Chai Village of the Red Dao minoriy and Ban Ho Village of the Tay minority.

- Y Linh Ho Village
Y Linh Ho Village is located about 4 km to the south west of Sapa Town. It's alongside of Muong Hoa valley. Y Linh Ho is a little commune composed by a dozen of little hamlets scattering on the severe mountain terrain with high and steep hills.
This village is home to the Black H'Mong who wears very dark clothes in black and navy dyed with indigo. Here you may enjoy the beautiful and intriguing scenery of those villages. This is your opportunity to visit the H'mong people dwelling in their wooden and bamboo houses.

Lao Chai village is about 6 km far from the Sapa Center, You can reach here by the main road of trekking from Y Linh Ho Village , great view of the whole village opens wide to offer the marvelous panorama of the village, backed by Hoang Lien mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terrace fields, stream, visit and discover some of the Black H’mong’s families, three large villages with over 100 families of the Black H’mong ethnic.
