Hanoi Opera House
Standing in the heart of Hanoi, the opera house was located in a beautiful intersection downtown, where five main city roads lead to. The building was completed in 1911 after 10 years of construction, by two French architects, Broyer and V. Harley, resembling the Opéra Garnier de Paris.The magnificent building became one of the top landmarks in Hanoi. Thang Long Water Puppet
Thang Long Water Puppet was established in 1969 under the management of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Information. It was first called: Hanoi Kim Dong Art Troupe
In 1993, Thang Long puppetry troupe was officially handed over to Hoa Binh cinema, which was built and renovated into a puppet theater at 57B - Dinh Tien Hoang street - Hoan Kiem.
Up to now, this is one of the most famous places for foreign tourists to enjoy the Traditional Puppet Show of Vietnam.

Vietnam National Academy of Music
Vietnam National Academy of Music (the former Hanoi National Conservatory of Music) was founded in 1956 and has been the first and biggest professional music training institution of country and southeast region, focusing on music performance, research and training. (VNOB) is a theatre belong to Vietnam Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism. VNOB, established in 1959 in Hanoi, with large scale and profession, is leading theatre in performing classical art. Lotus Water Puppet
 In 2008, Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre (formerly known as Vietnam Song, Dance and Music Theater) was assigned to manage and use building at 16 Le Thai To Str., (79 Hang Trong), Hoan Kiem Dist., Hanoi by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Called “Vietn Culturle Space”, the building is located in a central location of the capital with two front and open space - an ancient building built with France architecture in 1918, located beside Hoan Kiem historial lake. The building served as the first headquarters of the 1st National Assembly of Vietnam Democratic Republic. In addition, it is also proud to be chosen to perform Arts, Dance, Music serving many international delegations of leaders of the Party, the State and mass programs.

The Quintessence of Tonkin
Located 25km west of central Hanoi, The Quintessence of Tonkin occupies a space close to Chua Thay, a special National Cultural Heritage site and one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in Vietnam.
The spectacle draws inspiration from the pagoda’s spiritual history, with storyline elements that focus on the founding of the pagoda by the venerable monk Tu Dao Hanh and the ancient union between religion and monarchy. Chua Thay can be easily visited in conjunction with a trip to The Quintessence of Tonkin, which helps frame the spectacle.
The stage was built in between the auditorium and the hill where Chua Thay rests, so the audience watches the performance to the backdrop of the pagoda. The pagoda thus plays a vital role in the spectacle. The stage is permanently submerged under the water, and is large enough to accommodate 250 performers at one time.
