Queríamos viajar a Vietnam y visitar principalmente las montañas del norte de Vietnam, además de Ninh Binh y la Bahía de Halong. Lo que más nos interesaba eran los paisajes verdes de las montañas y hacer varios trekking para disfrutarlos. Disponíamos de 15 días. No nos gustan los viajes organizados, pero para visitar Vietnam, tal y como queríamos y con la limitación de los 15 días, era imprescindible. Quería una agencia de viajes local que conociese bien el país y leí en diferentes foros de internet buenas opiniones acerca de Way to Vietnam, así que contacté con ellos y nos hicieron un viaje a medida en un todo terreno con conductor y guía para las 3 personas que íbamos. No nos defraudaron. El viaje ha sido increíble, perfectamente organizado, justo lo que queríamos. Ms. Huong Bui, de Way to Vietnam, entendió perfectamente lo que esperábamos del viaje y nos preparó el recorrido. Algunos pequeños ajustes y todo listo. La comunicación desde el principio ha sido clara y fluida (en inglés). Muchas gracias a Way to Vietnam, y en especial a Ms. Huong Bui, el guía y el conductor por hacer posible el viaje y hacer que resultara una experiencia inolvidable.

Last Dec, I organized a tour with my family and friends (group of 10 people with people ages from 20-60 yrs). We used Way to Vietnam company for our trip to Vietnam, Laos and Siem Reap. I am very please to write that all of us thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We were taken care of the moment we landed in Vietnam until we left after 15 days. Ms Huong was our coordinator. She custom planned our tour, amenable to our needs and suggestions and changed the itinerary on the fly. She personally came to greet us at the beginning and end of the trip. When you travel with such a big group for 15 days, small hiccups in the plan do happen. Ms Huong was available 24 hrs a day and took care of the problem immediately. We are planning an another trip in 2018/2019, we are doing to use them again. Ms Huong is the BEST. Suman Chopra

My wife and I strongly recommend this company, and especially Ms. Huong Bui, for an extraordinary time we had in Vietnam. We have not space enough to enumerate here all the gestures of her and her staff to facilitate, enlighten, and make comfortable our trip. From a long correspondence working out all the details until realization, with exact and immediate answers, to booking for us high class hotels, restaurants and cars, and above all with a very competitive budget. I would not know from where to start: the driver and guide that welcomed us at each airport, their kindness, the immediate help my wife got while suffering from difficult walking, the small gestures of carrying our bags, opening the doors, and such patience! and always with a smile.
2 things we will never forget. One, when we had wedding aniversary during the trip in a humble location, and we couldn't go out to celebrate with a dinner as we would like to, the guide (Thang, fantastic guy! I will always remember you with a smile) and the driver brought us a cake with a firework candle on top of it. Then, once back from the whole trip in Hanoi Ms. Bui payed us a visit at the hotel and brought a nice gift, which we will cherish forever as a sweet reminder of the trip.
Every small and big problem we encountered during the trip was solved immediately by Ms. Bui, and always in good temper, although I have been a pain in the ... with many demands, beginning with a very different way of programming the itinerary due to my deep interest in photography.
I may have forgotten other details worth to mention.
All in all, if you look for a tour company - this is the one without hesitation.

Hi Huong,

Having now arrived safely back in Australia and recovered from the long trip home, I just wanted to write to you and thank you for the wonderful trip you put together for Desiree and I. We enjoyed every minute of it and are now looking forward to coming back to Vietnam either next year or the year after, to spend a little more time in the places we enjoyed most and also to incorporate a trip to Cambodia.

All of our Guides were excellent to be with, arrived on time, every time and were extremely knowledgeable, which all helped to make our trip so enjoyable. I'd like to particularly thank you for all your hard work in putting it all together and for always being responsive to my sometimes far to regular questions and requests. You always acted professionally and it was a particular pleasure to have been able to meet you in Hanoi.

 

I will definitely be in contact with you again in the future when we next visit Vietnam and will be asking you to help us with our next trip.

Danke Ms. Huong Bui - für Ihre Geduld - meine Reiseplanung 1,5 Jahre im Voraus zu "ertragen". Es war die Geburtstagsreise meines Mannes und was soll ich sagen, es hat alles von A bis Z gestimmt. Die Fahrer und Guides waren immer pünktlich an den verschiedenen Destinations - das Buchungspaket in Kambodscha mit Hotel (speziell das Victoria Angkor Resort in Siem Reap kann ich wärmstens empfehlen) und Inlandsflug war super. Die Auswahl der Restaurants zum Essen war stimmig und geschmackvoll.
Für Vietnam hatte ich dann die Hotels selbst gebucht - aber auch hier war alles perfekt organisiert. Wir hatten Lunch in Saigon in einem Restaurant - sorry aber ich weiß den Namen nicht mehr - das war echt der Hammer - 5 Sterne Plus Küche.
Wir hatten Ms. Huong Bui auch während unserer Reise stehts erreichen können und wurden sofort mit allen Infos umsorgt, auch Änderungen direkt vor Ort waren kein Problem. Zum Schluss haben wir uns in Hanoi getroffen, mein Tip: La Siesta Hotel & Spa - ein 3 Sterne Boutique Hotel - was aber mit seinem Service und der Ausstattung der Zimmer definitiv 4 Sterne Plus verdient hat.
Wer in seinem Urlaub ein paar Tage Ruhe am Strand geniesen möchte, dem kann ich das Hotel Princess Dan Nam Resort & Spa empfehlen, zwar abgelegen, aber der Service ist unschlagbar. Die Kellner und Servicecrew hatten so viel Spaß in der Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Geburtstages meines Mannes - wir waren restlos begeistert von so viel Engagement. Ich kann Way to Vietnam Travel und speziell Mr. Huong Bui nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ganz dickes Lob - wir waren nicht das letzte mal mit Euch unterwegs. Myanmar steht auch noch auf unserer Reiseliste - das werde ich NUR bei Way to Vietnam Travel buchen. Macht weiter so - ihr seit absolute Spitze. Liebe Grüße Daniela & Josef

Hanoi
Guide - Thang (?) was very good and was very knowledgeable. He covered all the sites and suggested change of itinerary so that we could see the Museum of Ethnography which was just fantastic. The only comment I have is that his English accent was sometimes hard to follow but this was not such a big issue.
Hotel - Apricot Hotel was great. Food was superb and staff really helpful and friendly.

Driver - very good and safe driving.

Halong Bay Cruise
Cruise itself was good and enjoyable. One comment is that the cruise did not provide sufficient drinking water and we were required purchase water at meal times. This was mentioned in the comments to Heritage Lines.

The cruise finished earlier than expected which meant we were dropped off at the airport around 2 or 3 pm and we had to wait in the airport for a few hours. We tried to change the flights but given the tickets issued were discounted this was not possible.

 

Hoi An & Hue

Guide - Truc (?) excellent. Very good English and local knowledge. He was very helpful and went out of his way to make our trip an enjoyable one.

Hotel - Royal in Hoi An was just superb. Great rooms (slightly bigger would have been nice!) and amenities.

La Residence was also a very nice place with the old world charm. Both hotels and staff were excellent.

Driver - again very good and safe driving.

HCM

Guide - (already forgotten his name!) but was again very good. Enjoyed his company thoroughly and he showed us all the sites as per schedule. Explanations were very good. Very friendly and warm personality.

Hotel - Le Meridiene - great rooms and amenities. Personally, I did not think much of the lobby but that does not make the hotel any less attractive. Would go there again!

Driver - once again was very good and safe driving.

Siem Reap

Guide - Borey was just fantastic. HIt would have been better if we had a bigger size vehicle.e should have taken up drama as a profession! Although the weather was hot and steamy, none of us felt it because of his enthusiasm and story telling capability.

Hotel - The Sokha was good but compared to the rest of the hotels this ranked the lowest. The  staff and food were great but the rooms just looked a bit tired.

Driver - very good. It would have been better if we had a bigger size vehicle.

Phnom Penh

Guide - Sokha was very good - he made our short stay in PP interesting and showed us the areas we did not see earlier during the cruise. Good English and very helpful.

Hotel - Inter Continentel was very good and well maintained. The best breakfast during our trip!! The location was not the best but the service and room quality more than offsets this.

Driver - very good.


Overall, I would say that our experience from the very beginning to the end was just excellent.Your contribution the efficient dealings certainly made us decide to go with WaytoVietnam as opposed to other company who did the Mekong Cruise and we are glad that we select WaytoVietnam as our travel agent. Your prices were also very competitive.

Hope you keep up this standard of service - WaytoVietnam will have a bright future.
