Trip of a lifetime....

Do not underestimate Way to Vietnam. We recently returned from an 18 day trip to Vietnam, definitely much more than a day tour company! Huong Bui was our main point of contact. Every part of our trip was phenomenal, we requested a last minute change to a tour on one day of our trip, Huong was immediately responsive and helped adjust days to suit our needs. ONE HUNDRED percent a 10 out of 10 for Way to Vietnam for creating a personal itinerary for our likes/dislikes, compassion along the way when we were a bit nervous, responding to our many questions prior to our trip and superb execution during our trip. We hope to return to Vietnam using Way to Vietnam, next time incorporating in Thailand perhaps. Thanks to Way to Vietnam for helping create memories of a lifetime!

Second trip with this company and will be doing a third next year

I just returned from a 3 week trip all arranged by Ms Houng. Spent a week each in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Thailand. She built the tour around the activities I was interested in experiencing. Went to several temples in Cambodia (Phnom Penh and Siem Reap) and learned so much about their sad history. Yet all the locals and my tour guides were so friendly and welcoming. Then spent a few days in Hoi An with no activities planned. Just explored the city and loved the lantern boats in the evening. From there to Hanoi where I did a tour of the city and then made Bun Cha at a cooking class the next day. Also has the pleasure to meet Ms Houng while in Hanoi. Visited an elephant sanctuary in Cheing Mai Thailand and that was amazing. Last few days in Cheing Mai and Phuket were just relaxation time.

Can’t say enough good things about the drivers and the guides. Always on time (and often arriving early) so there was no stress about being late for tours or rides to/from the airport.

Am already starting to plan a trip for next year and will of course be using Way to Vietnam and Ms Houng.

Way to Vietnam is the Way to Go!

Having grown up during the Vietnam War, I’ve always been fascinated with that part of the world where it took place, and seeing Vietnam and Cambodia has always been a big item on my bucket list. I couldn’t have chosen a better company than Way To Vietnam to fulfill my wish of seeing it. Their professionalism, level of expertise and attention to detail is nothing short of impressive.

I dealt exclusively with Ms. Huong Bui, who put together an absolutely fantastic itinerary for our group of six. We chose the 15-Day Highlights of Vietnam - Cambodia Tour. There were a couple of days on the original itinerary that included destinations or activities I wasn’t particularly interested in, but Huong happily allowed me to make changes to those days and travel to specific places I wanted to see, such as the tunnels of Cu Chi and the site of the My Lai massacre.

All hotels included in the tour were the best I’ve stayed in, and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with. The drivers were also great, although I had to close my eyes a few times when they were navigating the insane traffic in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. 🤣 We’re already planning our next trip to Southeast Asia and will definitely use Way to Vietnam.

Wonderful Family Trip to Vietnam

We heard about Way to Vietnam through friends and decided to reach out to have them help plan our family trip to Vietnam. We had never used a travel agency for our family vacations before and were very pleased with the itinerary and services provided. Ms. Huong was our main contact. She provided excellent communication, great ideas for a family with teenage kids, and helped us personalize an itinerary. She can recommend/ book hotels ranging from 3-5 stars and help with transportation within Vietnam. The tour guides and drivers were all exceptional. While we loved sight seeing with Way to Vietnam, we had plenty of unstructured days on our own. We were very impressed with Ms. Huong and loved our personalized trip to Vietnam

Wonderful Custom Family Trip to Vietnam

I found Way to Vietnam on the internet and even though the reviews were not extensive, they seemed authentic and very strong, so I decided to try them for organizing a special family trip. From the first contact Ms. Huong Bui was so professional and responsive. She crafted a custom itinerary with all the details taken care of for us. We had a fabulous trip and the execution was seamless with drivers and guides all showing up and Huong was always available to answer questions and clear up any small issues. The accommodations Ms. Huong selected were all very nice with excellent service and special character. Choosing WaytoVietnam took all the headaches of planning a big trip away and we were able to just enjoy ourselves! Thank you!

Excellent Tour company that gave us a fabulous tour of Vietnam

We were recommended to Way to Vietnam by a couple who had used them when they toured Vietnam. They said they had been excellent.
Having just recently returned from Vietnam we can wholeheartedly agree.
From first contact to arriving home they have been super efficient in ensuring that our tour was delivered as planned.
We took as a base their 21 day Vietnam tour and personalised it to ourselves, adding a few bits, omitting others. The initial too & fro by email was very easy and pleasant and we quickly arrived at a tour – and price – that we were very happy with.
Now, as we have just arrived home, we can thoroughly recommend them to others.
At each airport we were met by a guide or driver – or both – and taken to our hotel.
Thereafter, be it a city tour, journey or adventure we had a comfortable air-conditioned car to travel in and a knowledgeable guide to add real value to the journey. Throughout the tour, without exception, both drivers and guides were excellent.
The company’s choice of hotels was excellent and a good mix of smart, new hotels with traditional accommodation. All had a pool, were in a great position and super friendly staff.
Everywhere was a highlight – Vietnam is a special place – and we had a great time.
Very happy to recommend them without hesitation.

I travelled from the USA to Hanoi, Vietnam in July 2024. I booked comprehensive travel package for one week thru Ms. Houng Bui of Way to Vietnam Travel. She customized for me excellent travel itinerary called "Best of Northern and Southern Vietnam tour".

Personal and customized experience - highly recommend!

Ms Huong built a wonderful 12 day itinerary for us, based on our requested locations across Vietnam (Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and Phu Yen). She was very helpful in advising us on when/where to go for our trip, getting prepared for the trip (even submitting our e-visas for us), and was instantly available by WhatsApp during the trip in case of issues. We were also very touched that Ms Huong met us in person at our Hotel in Hanoi with a welcome bag of Banh Com and O Mai.

Overall, we enjoyed the right balance of sightseeing, tours, relaxation, and free exploration time that we had been seeking on this trip. This felt very personalized to our tastes, and not at all a cookie cutter experience. The tour guides she arranged for Hanoi and Hoi An were knowledgeable, fun, and helpful. They were also able to help us find and visit my family ancestral shrine, which was a very special experience that I am very grateful for.

Vietnam Private Battlefields Tour

My 14 day Vietnam private battlefields tour was more than I could have imagined. Thanks to Ms. Houng Bui, she customized my itinerary to my liking. More than once, it came to mind, other battlefields and sites that I chose to see. Ms. Houng Bui was an absolute pleasure seeing that my experiences and wishes were fulfilled. A simple email of my request was answered the very next morning, with the itinerary change immediately added and sent to me the very next morning. No additional charges!! Houng Bui had every detail of my trip covered with no issues. She is extremely prompt to answer questions or concerns, making the entire process of scheduling, completely worry free. While on my journey through beautiful Vietnam, she would reach out to me, to be certain that I was enjoying my trip to the fullest. My guides, drivers, the staff at the hotels, the restaurants, meals, flight connections and hotel accommodations could not have been better. The people were all friendly, professional, caring and kind. I found the Vietnamese people very happy and welcoming. Never once did I have any concern for my safety. Houng Bui, as busy as she must be, took the time to meet me in my Hanoi hotel lobby to see how I was doing. Her concern for others aren’t over at the end of your trip. She continues to be there for me, only an email or call away, and always very prompt to respond. If I could give Ms. Houng Bui and “WayToVietnam” more than 5 stars I certainly would. We had our own private trip organized and booked by Way to Vietnam and it was wonderful 20 days visiting Vietnam.
Everything that was planned worked out perfectly. We did hiking, biking golfing….
All our pick ups were on time, guides were informative and we got mobile support from our agent Huong along the way.
