Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi arrival- welcome dinner (D)
Because group members are from different countries and flights so there are no activities on this day in Hanoi. We will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel, check in
19h00: Welcome dinner. Everyone joins the welcome dinner to make friends, to know each other’s…

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)

8h30: Our tour guide and driver will meet you at hotel lobby for Hanoi City tour, first visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt- House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda nearby, after that our guide will take you to visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to discover the rich culture of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
12h00: Lunch, after lunch, visit the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. 1 hour sitting on the Cyclo to visit Hanoi Old Quarter then Enjoy the Water Puppet Show, time at leisure
 
Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B, L)
8h00: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel to Ninh Binh. After 2-hour driving, we arrive in Hoa Lu-The capital of Vietnam from 968 AD to 1010 AD ruled by King Dinh and King Le, visit Dinh Temple and Le Temple – these temples were built in 17th Century to warship for King Dinh and King Le.

11h15: Leave for Tam Coc by bicycle about 18kms, enjoy the beautiful countryside roand and sceneries on the way, stop for pictures… (you can go by bus if you don’t like a biking trip)
12h00: Arrive at your hotel in Tam Coc, check in the hotel
12h30: Lunch at a local restaurant
13h30: 2-hour boat trip to visit Tam Coc which is called "Inland Halong Bay". The boat trip on a river through the quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations to the grottoes of Tam Coc.
15h30: Back to the harbour, time at leisure, you can visit Hang Mua by yourselves or, walking around the village to discover the daily lives of the local people.

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

8h30: Leave for Halong Bay
12h00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Island – Take break and welcome drink at Pelican Halong Cruise Lounge at Block No 15
Transfer to Pelican Cruise
13h00 – 19h30: Welcome drink - receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
Enjoy buffet lunch with Vietnamese and International dishes served while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island
 Visiting Tung Sau area is covered by the leaping rocks, cultured pearl fishery. You can wit yourself the process of the jewel, from culturing to harvesting and sculpting, Moreover, you have a chance to do kayaking based on your preference. Enjoy busy space with pearl maker, you can experience the completion of pearl.
 Visiting the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that create a great ambiance for tourists to relax or passengers can take steps to reach on the top of  Ti Top beach to have a whole panorama view of Halong Bay.
 Back to the boat and free time while sailing to Luon Bo area, and anchor overnight.
 Attend the Cooking class on sundeck – How to make Vietnamese spring rolls - traditional Vietnamese food. Then enjoy Happy Hour (Buy one drink-get one free). It is time for chit chat and relaxing. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.

19h30 – 23h00: Dinner – Deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Deluxe Dinner
Evening activities include: Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, watching movies and many sort of Vietnam cultural films, relaxing and spending a romantic night on Pelican Halong Cruise’s music, playing cards, chess are available, reading magazines in room and dining room. You may also try your luck at squid fishing from the boat.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

06h00 – 08h00: The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi, also called Tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.
Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
 08h00 – 11h30: Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.
 Back to Pelican Halong Cruise. Check out and settle your bill at reception.
Have a buffet brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf.
Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye to the crew.
12.00: Return to Hanoi - Arrival back at your hotel about 15:00

Day 6: Hanoi – Hue (B,L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Hue.
On arrival, our tour guide will pick you up to your hotel, check in, free time.
13h00: Bus transfer to visit Thanh Toan village.  stop to visit ancient, roof-tiled Thanh Toan bridge which was built in the 18th century and connect to friendly people here. short break to discovering around the village.

Continue Chuon Lagoon - an ancient village with more than 600 years of history. visit the village temple, which was recognized as a national relic in 1994 and typical of the architectural style during the Nguyen Dynasty.
Boarding a small motorized sampan, to cruise around this peaceful water, experience activities on Chuon Lagoon where you can learn and practice fishing skills with fishing techniques
18h00: Back to your hotel, time at leisure

Day 7: Hue City Tour (B, L)

8h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel for the City Tour. the first visit to Dong Ba Market to see the daily lives of local people. After that the Dragon boat trip on Huong River will take you to Thien Mu pagoda – The oldest pagoda in Hue city.
The last visit of the morning is Hue Imperial Citadel – The home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty.
12h00: Lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch we go to visit Khai Dinh King’s Tomb – a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. Minh Mang King’s Tomb, one is impressed by the majesty and symmetry of the architectural constructions.
The tour end with a Cyclo ride around Hue City then back to your hotel around 17h00

Day 8: Hue – Hoi An (B,L)
9h00: Car transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, enjoy the beautiful sceneries on the way through Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Da Nang City
12h00: Arrive in Hoi An, check in your hotel, lunch
14h00: Hoi An City tour to visit Ancient Town, Japanese Covered Bridge, after the city tour we drive to Tra Que Vegetable village to see how the farmer grow vegetable and you can try it on. back to your hotel or free time to walk around to enjoy the ancient town at night

Day 9: Hoi An (B,L)

8.30 am. Drive to My Son, a World Heritage, 40 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Back to Hoi An for lunch.

After lunch, visit Cam Thanh village, on arrival we visit a local family with tradition of making fish sauce. At this village, we will be amazed how nice the coconut characteristic house of the countryside is and enjoy the handicraft man manipulating the furniture made of water coconut and bamboo. Then continue to the fishing village to explore the Bay Mau Water Coconut Forest with the unique basket boat, that will be an unforgettable experience on your trip to Vietnam. Back to your hotel, time at leisure

Day 10: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

8h00: Transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City
On arrival, we drive to the city center for the city tour
First visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam before 30 April 1975, next to that is the Notre Dame Cathedral, Sai Gon Central Post Office, the City Hall a stop at lacquer ware workplace.
12h30: Lunch in a restaurant
13h30: After lunch We continue to visit the War Remnant Museum where there is a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people. We continue to visit Museum of Vietnam History to discover about the rich history of Vietnam then end the tour at Ben Thanh Market Where you can find everything on sales and try many kinds of the local food. You can go back to the hotel with the tour guide or free time to explore this place and go back to your hotel by yourselves.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City- Cu Chi tunnels and Cao Dai Temple (B,L)
8h00: Our tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 100 kms South East of HCMC, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic mix of colours and the amazing use of architecture create a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavour to western palates.

11h45: The Temple opens, we get in the temple find your best place to see the inside finest
12h00: Take part in the Ceremony
12h30: Transfer to Cu Chi for Lunch at a local restaurant
14h00: After you have a lunch, we start visiting the Cu Chi Tunnel Complex, This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquer the area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking.
16h00: Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, arrive at your hotel around 18h00.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho (B,L)
 
08.00am: Our Tour Guide & Driver pick you up at the hotel then take an excursion to My Tho, one of quiet cities in Mekong Delta area. Arrival to My Tho, a full day trip to water world of the Mekong Delta; enjoy the journey through the fertile paddy fields, water buffalos. Take the boat trip along narrow waterways and visit some orchards, local houses where making rice-paper, enjoy tropical fruits with southern traditional “Tai Tu music” show. Enjoy lunch with special Elephant’s Ear Fish will be served during lunch on local restaurant on island. After finished boat trip, take on private vehicle to Can Tho, stop for visiting the ancient pagoda Vinh Trang.
17h00: Arrive in Can Tho, check-in the hotel on arrival. Free at lesure until enjoy dinner at charming restaurant located on Hau River branch. Time at leisure

Day 13: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – HCMC (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to the pier for taking the boat ride on Mekong River, which is the longest and most prosperous in Asia, visit the famous floating market Cai Rang, where you can see the daily lives and local people selling their products on boats. Then cruising to small cannels to visit one of the local family and their orchard, taste tropical fruits, green tea.
Back to Can Tho City for lunch then take on private vehicle return to Ho Chi Minh City
17.00: Arrive at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure.
