Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai (Friday)
We pick you up at hotel and transfer to Railway Station at 20:30PM. The train departs at 21:50PM.

Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa - Lao Chai - Tavan(Saturday)
Upon arrival (approx. 5:30AM), our guide will pick you up at Lao Cai Station and transfer to Sapa within 1.5 hour for 38kms.
Have breakfast in hotel and check-in hotel. The balance of the morning is at leisure.
After lunch, driving from Sapa town down to Lao Chai village. You can enjoy stunning views of Muong Hoa Valley, terraced rice field as well as meet many ethnic group on the way. We turn off the main road to take a local path for trekking to Lao Chai villge, a village of H’mong ethnic. Then continue walking further to Tavan village where you can meet Day ethnic. Then we walk to the main road where our car is waiting for picking you up to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa - Bac Ha Market - Hanoi (Sunday)
After breakfast in hotel, let check out hotel and transfer to Bac Ha Market – far from Sapa 3 hours by car. This Sunday market also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups including the Variegated H’mong, Dao, Phu La, La Chi, Tay who still retain their age old cultural traditions and are recognizably distinct from each other by their dress. Have lunch in local restaurant.

After lunch, we spend 2 hours visiting Ban Pho village – a village of Flower H’mong people to learn more about cultural life of ethnic minority. In the afternoon, driving back to Lao Cai Station for the night train to Hanoi.
The train departs at 20:45PM and arrive Hanoi at 5:30AM on the next morning.
