Overnight in Hanoi.

In the morning, your guide will meet you at the hotel to begin a full-day exploration of Hanoi’s historic and cultural highlights. Start with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his traditional Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to West Lake to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Hanoi, before exploring the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to discover the rich traditions and cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
After lunch at a carefully selected restaurant, visit the historic Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, dating back to the 11th century. Head to the heart of the city to see Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, before taking a relaxing one-hour cyclo ride through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter.
Conclude your day with a traditional Water Puppet Show, a distinctive art form rooted in northern Vietnam, before returning to your hotel for the evening at your leisure.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Note: Below is a sample itinerary based on a featured cruise. Activities and timing may vary slightly depending on the specific cruise vessel selected for your journey.

In the morning, your limousine transfer will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for the drive to Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the cruise port, complete the check-in procedures and board your cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and a brief safety orientation before settling into your cabin.

A delicious lunch is served on board as the cruise sails into the tranquil waters of Lan Ha Bay, surrounded by hundreds of limestone karsts and small islands.

In the afternoon, transfer by tender or speedboat to Viet Hai Village, located within Cat Ba National Park. Enjoy a gentle bicycle ride (or electric cart) through a rainforest tunnel to reach the village, where you can meet local residents, visit traditional homes, and see a glimpse of daily life in this peaceful rural community.

Alternative option: Guests who prefer to stay on the bay can spend the afternoon kayaking or swimming in the clear waters near the cruise.

Return to the cruise in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy the sunset from the sundeck. Join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration and learn how to prepare traditional spring rolls. Later, enjoy dinner on board accompanied by live music. In the evening, you can try your hand at squid fishing, have a drink at the bar, or simply relax on the sundeck.

Overnight on board in Lan Ha Bay / Halong Bay.

06:00 – 06:30: Start your morning with a peaceful sunrise on the sundeck or join a Tai Chi or yoga session as the bay slowly comes to life. After a light breakfast, explore the serene Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang Toi), a hidden lagoon surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. You can explore the emerald waters by kayak or take a traditional bamboo boat rowed by local villagers.
09:00 – 09:45: Return to the cruise to freshen up, pack your luggage, and check out of your cabin while sailing back toward the mainland. Enjoy a hearty brunch on board before disembarking at the port.
After disembarkation: Your private transfer will take you to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for your afternoon flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival in Da Nang: Your local guide and driver will welcome you at Da Nang International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure. You may take your first stroll through the lantern-lit streets of the Ancient Town or simply relax at the hotel after the day's journey.

Overnight in Hoi An.

08:30: After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and driver and head to My Son Sanctuary, about 40 km southwest of Hoi An. Set in a lush valley, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the religious and political center of the ancient Champa Kingdom.
Explore the impressive brick temples and towers, many of which date from the 7th to the 13th centuries. Your guide will introduce you to the history, architecture, and religious traditions of the Champa people as you walk through this historic site.
12:30: Return to Hoi An for lunch at a carefully selected restaurant.
14:00: In the afternoon, discover the historic Hoi An Ancient Town, a former trading port that flourished between the 16th and 18th centuries. Walk through its narrow streets lined with traditional yellow houses and see the architectural influences left by Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and European merchants.
Visit some of Hoi An’s best-known landmarks, including the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Japanese Covered Bridge, and Tan Ky Old House. You will also have time to visit a traditional handicraft workshop and see some of the crafts that have been part of local life for generations.
After the sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Overnight in Hoi An.

In the morning: After breakfast at your hotel, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to Da Nang International Airport for your morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.
Upon arrival: Your local guide and driver will welcome you at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer you to the city center.
12:30: Enjoy lunch featuring Southern Vietnamese cuisine at a carefully selected restaurant.
14:00: Begin your afternoon city tour with a visit to the Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), an important landmark in Vietnam’s modern history. Continue to the historic heart of the city to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, two of Ho Chi Minh City’s best-known French colonial landmarks.
Next, head to Cholon (Chinatown) to explore Binh Tay Market and visit Thien Hau Pagoda, a historic Chinese temple dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea.
After the sightseeing, return to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure, with time to explore the city’s night markets, walking streets, or dining spots.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and spend your remaining time in Ho Chi Minh City at leisure. You may do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs, relax at a local café, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
Depending on your international flight schedule, your private driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight home or onward journey.
