Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival
You are welcome at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in.
Spend overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City excursion (B,L)
Today we take a city excursion around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda.
Follow your guide’s lead while you walk through some of the Quarter’s 36 streets named for the products historically sold there. Along the way, pass by some of the only remaining streets that continue selling the goods of their namesake, including Tin and Bamboo street.
Wrap up your guided walk with a strong Vietnamese coffee at a café overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake - an important symbol of Vietnamese folklore. Free time
Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long, overnight onboard (B,L,D)

15:00: Arrive in Hanoi and have some free time
17:00, our guide comes to pick you up and head on a culinary adventure while sampling street food in the Old Quarter. It’s a great opportunity to try all those weird and wonderful foods you see but just aren’t sure what they are!
Start the Hanoi Street Eats tour at Bia Hoi Corner to sample the local brew, a draft beer that traces its roots to Eastern Europe. Do as the locals do: pull up a stool and enjoy a drink while watching the world go by.
Continue through the old quarter’s narrow streets as your guide points out a range of tasty noodles, breads and snacks. At night the sidewalks are packed with locals perched on stools, amongst sizzling woks and bubbling pots. These small pop-up restaurants are a nightly feature that all but disappear during the day. Sit down and enjoy a flame-grilled Vietnamese barbecue of beef, chicken, tofu and vegetables on skewers.
End the night with dessert from Hanoi’s best-known ice-cream parlor before heading back to your hotel.
21h00 transfer to the train station for the night train to Lao Cai departing at 22:00.
Spend overnight on train with 4 bed cabin, private cabin is available at your request.
Day 5: Sapa - Cable car to Fansipan Mount. – Topas Ecolodge (B)
The train arrives around 06.00 AM.
You then get picked up at the train station and drive to Sapa for 45mins driving. Have breakfast at a local restaurant and take a short rest. This morning a cable car to Fansipan Mountain will be arranged. While sitting in the cabin up the mountain, you can enjoy the view of nature, the majestic mountains of Hoang Lien Son mountain range or Muong Hoa Valley covered with a white color of the sky, creating a sense of breeze as it flies in the sky.
At the station, visitors have to climb 600 stone steps up to the top Fansipan.
After that, take the cable car back to the town and head to Topas Ecolodge to spend overnight.
Day 6: Walking to Lech village - Limousine bus back to Hanoi (B)
After breakfast at hotel, the walk commences from Topas Ecolodge on a quiet road with a great view of the rice terrace below. You then take a slightly ascent to Lech village. You will visit a local house, meet the friendly Red Dao hosts and experience their daily way of life. The Red Dao women got their hair and eyes brows shaved like their ancestors and wear very colorful customs. They are famous for beautiful handmade embroidery and basket weaving. Later you may visit the village’s school and will learn about education and school system in the Northern Mountains of Vietnam. On the way back to Topas Ecolodge, you will walk on small trails passing rice terraces and cross a suspension bridge. Your guide will explain the interesting cultivating culture of the local farmers.
Back to the hotel around noon and free time until 14:30 PM, Topas limousine bus will take you back to Hanoi.
Around 20:00 PM, drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi – Fly to Hue - Romance dinner by the Hill (B,D)
14:30 PM, a private car will transfer you to Noi Bai airport to take 01hr20mins flight from Hanoi to Hue.
On arrival at Hue airport, our driver picks you up and transfer to AnHill hotel for check-in and have some free time.
Begin the evening with an aperitif while admiring the sunset over the hill, as the sun sets before you and the candlelight casts a warm glow on the Koi pond, savour a customized dinner for two featuring decadent ingredients and local specialties prepared by our Chef.
Day 8: Hue city excursion (B,L)
08:30 AM, our tour guide comes to pick you up and our day begins with a visit at Hue Imperial Citadel – The home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty – the Nguyen Dynasty.
After lunch at a local restaurant, float down the peaceful Perfume River by boat, taking in the endless surrounding greenery. At the end of your hour-long boat trip, hop off at the pier and transfer to the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. Admire the unusual combination of architecture that blends a traditional Chinese past with a modern Western future.
Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon and spend overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue - Hoi An (B,L)
This morning we take a journey southwards to Hoi An for 02hrs driving, stop over at Lang Co beach and Hai Van Pass.
On arrival at Hoi An, have a walking to visit the tranquility and charm of Hoi An Town with its low tiled houses of Chinese appearance, Japanese covered bridge, brightly painted temples and pagodas make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Vietnam.
End the evening with relaxing boat trip along Thu Bon river, a waterway which plays an important role in the geography, culture and history of Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An Free time (B)
Spend the day at leisure on the beach, learning the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine with a cooking class or having clothes made by one of Hoi An’s famous – and famously inexpensive tailors! Your day is free to do as little or as much as you like.
Day 11: Hoi An – Fly to Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels excursion by speed boat (B,L)
06:15 AM, you get picked up and transferred to Danang airport for 01hr30mins flight from Danang to Ho Chi Minh city.
Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh city, our driver picks you up and transfers to the hotel for a short rest until around 11:00 PM, get picked up for Cu Chi Tunnels excursion by speed boat.

Once you arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels, you’ll have the opportunity to explore this fascinating network of underground passageways that were built and used by the VC during various conflicts. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you through the tunnels, explaining the various communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches, and living quarters that were constructed here. One of the highlights of the tour is the chance to crawl through a section of the tunnels yourself, giving you a firsthand experience of what it was like for the soldiers who lived and fought here. After exploring the tunnels, you’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch, featuring local specialties like lemongrass chicken and caramelized clay pot pork.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh – City Tour (B,L)
We then embark on a city excursion to visit the most highlights of the city, including the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace it was towards this modern building that North Vietnamese tanks seized on the morning of April 30 1975, as Saigon fell. This fascinating building is filled with history still fresh in the minds of many.
From there stroll to the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall.
Back to your hotel, time at leisure
Day 13: Mekong Delta full-day excursion (B,L)
08:00 AM, we make our way through Saigon traffic to Mekong Delta for 2hrs travelling. We arrive in Ben Tre about 10am and board a boat straight away for a nice cruise along the Ham Luong River. We go at easy pace and enjoy several stops en route to discover some traditional know-how of the region. They have been passed from generations to generations and practices were kept intact.
To end a busy morning and prepare for a slightly late lunch, we hop on bikes and start a leisure ride through forest and orchards. We reach a nice riverside restaurant and get ready to finally taste some typical cuisine of the Mekong delta. You may try your hand at preparing a local dish “Dried banana flower”.
The afternoon is dedicated to waterways exploration. On a sampan along narrow canals first, and then back on the boat to cruise to the pier.
After that, drive back to Ho Chi Minh city, Free time
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight
