After breakfast, set out on a private city tour to discover Hanoi’s history, culture and everyday life.

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, his Stilt House and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, followed by the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university.

In the afternoon, explore West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s oldest Buddhist temples. Take a one-hour cyclo ride through the Old Quarter, passing its narrow streets and historic buildings.

End the day with a traditional Water Puppet Show before returning to your hotel. The evening is free to relax or explore Hanoi at your own pace.

At 8:00 PM, your private driver will transfer you to the railway station for your overnight train to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa.

Arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station at around 6:30 AM, where your private driver will meet you and transfer you to Sapa, approximately 38 km away. After breakfast at a local restaurant, continue to Lao Chai Village in the Muong Hoa Valley, enjoying scenic views of terraced rice fields along the way.

Leave the main road and follow local paths through Lao Chai, home to the Hmong people. Walk through the peaceful valley and countryside, with wonderful opportunities to meet local residents and learn about their traditional way of life.

Continue to Ta Van Village, home to the Giay minority, where you will enjoy lunch at a local home. After lunch, take a leisurely stroll around the village to experience more of the local culture before returning to your hotel in Sapa in the afternoon.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at your leisure to explore Sapa town, stroll around the local market, or enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in views of the surrounding mountains and valley.

At 11:30 AM, check out of your hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, your private driver and guide will take you to Ta Phin Village, home to the Red Dao community. Explore the village, learn about the local tradition of herbal baths, and see the intricate hand-woven brocade made by local artisans.

Around 4:00 PM, depart Ta Phin by private vehicle for Lao Cai Railway Station. Enjoy some free time for dinner before boarding the overnight sleeper train back to Hanoi, departing at 8:35 PM. Overnight on the train.

Arrive back at Hanoi Railway Station early in the morning. Transfer to a nearby day-use hotel to shower, freshen up, and enjoy breakfast.

At 8:00 AM, meet your private driver and guide for the drive south to Ninh Binh. Arrive at Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital in the 10th century. Visit the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le and learn about Vietnam’s history during this important period.

Afterward, continue to Tam Coc for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a private traditional sampan boat ride through Tam Coc, passing limestone karsts and natural caves along the Ngo Dong River. The area is often known as “Halong Bay on land.”

By late afternoon, transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel or explore the surrounding area at your own pace.

At 8:00 AM, your private driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ninh Binh for a comfortable drive to Tuan Chau Marina in Halong Bay.

Around 11:45 AM, arrive at the cruise lounge and board the Stellar of the Seas Cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and a short briefing before checking in to your cabin. Savor lunch on board as the cruise begins sailing through the limestone islands and islets of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.

In the afternoon, enjoy a range of activities on and around the bay. Take a kayak or local bamboo boat to explore the quiet Dark and Bright Cave area, or go for a swim in the clear waters near the cruise. You can also relax on board, enjoy the mini-golf course, or take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool.

In the evening, join a sunset party on the sundeck, followed by a BBQ dinner. Spend the rest of the evening enjoying a drink at the bar, trying your hand at squid fishing, or simply relaxing on board under the night sky.

Start the morning on board with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or enjoy the early morning views of the bay. After a light breakfast, join the morning activity, such as exploring a local cave or cruising among the limestone islets.

Return to the vessel around 9:30 AM to check out of your cabin and enjoy brunch as the Stellar of the Seas cruises back to Tuan Chau Marina.

Disembark at around 11:30 AM, where your private driver will meet you and transfer you directly to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang.

Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, your private guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your luxury resort in Hoi An. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

At 8:00 AM, meet your private guide to begin a walking tour through Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk along its narrow streets, lined with historic merchant houses reflecting Chinese, Japanese, French and Vietnamese architectural influences.

Visit some of Hoi An’s most famous sites, including the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall, and a traditional ancient house. Continue to the local market along the Thu Bon River, where you can see fresh produce, spices and other local goods.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and try some of Hoi An’s traditional specialties.

In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore Hoi An at your own pace. Browse the local shops, have clothes made by one of the town’s tailors, or relax at a riverside café.

At 8:00 AM, depart Hoi An with your private driver and guide for the drive to Hue. Stop at Lang Co Beach along the way to enjoy the scenery and take some photos.

Arrive in Hue around noon and enjoy lunch featuring traditional Hue cuisine at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, explore the heritage of Vietnam’s former imperial capital. Visit the Imperial Citadel and the historic Forbidden Purple City, once the center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Continue to Minh Mang Tomb, known for its traditional architecture and landscaped grounds.

End the afternoon with a visit to Dong Ba Market, where you can browse local products and see everyday life in Hue, before returning to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

At 8:00 AM, meet your private guide and board a traditional dragon boat for a cruise along the Perfume River. Enjoy views of the riverbanks, countryside villages and local life along the way.

Your first stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue's oldest and best-known religious landmarks, located beside the Perfume River. Continue by boat to Hon Chen Temple, a historic religious site associated with the worship of Po Nagar and set on a hillside overlooking the river.

After the boat trip, continue to a local restaurant for lunch featuring traditional Hue cuisine.

In the afternoon, visit the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, known for its distinctive blend of Vietnamese and European architectural influences and detailed porcelain mosaics.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel or take a walk around Hue at your own pace.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer by private vehicle to Phu Bai Airport in Hue for your 11:45 AM flight to Hanoi.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport around 1:00 PM, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in central Hanoi.

After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Relax at your hotel, explore the Old Quarter, or spend your final evening in Hanoi at your own pace.

Optional: If preferred, you may fly from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City instead and spend the night there before your onward international flight.
