This full-day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby).   
Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at Michelin-starred Tam Vi Restaurant.
After lunch, visit the Museum of Ethnology and the Temple of Literature. Return to the Hanoi Old Quarter for a 1-hour cyclo ride, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

09:00: Your tour guide and private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi for a comfortable drive to Halong Bay.

12:00: Arrive at Heritage Line’s private welcome lounge at Tuan Chau Marina. Take a quick speedboat transfer to your luxurious floating home before embarking on a unique journey to explore Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island. The first highlight of the cruise is a delicious lunch served in the ship’s nearly 360-degree, light-flooded restaurant while enjoying panoramic views of the passing seascape. Upon reaching a small lagoon on Cat Ba Island, hop on a bicycle (or take an e-cart) for a leisurely ride along paved roads toward Viet Hai village. Nestled in a valley within Cat Ba National Park and surrounded by thick forest and mountains, this peaceful community offers an authentic glimpse into local life. Meet the villagers, see how they prepare traditional remedies from tree bark, and sample homemade liquors.

Return to the ship as she sets sail northbound. Our chef invites you to an interactive cooking class in the open kitchen to learn the secrets of classic Vietnamese dishes. As the sun sets and the ship anchors for the night, kick back and revel in the day’s adventures. Enjoy a gourmet dinner, unwind at the bar with a digestif, watch a movie in the dining area lounge, or try your hand at squid fishing before retiring to your suite.

Morning: Time at leisure.
After checking out at noon, your private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to Hoi An to check in at Anantara Hoi An Resort. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
