09:00 AM, our tour guide will come to the hotel to pick you up and start a city excursion around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Museum of Ethnology.
Enjoy traditional Vietnamese lunch at Tam Vi restaurant.
Back to the hotel after lunch and enjoy afternoon tea at the hotel.

Escape the frantic capital with an ebike ride through the charming and eclectic surroundings of Hanoi. Depart the hotel at 08:00. After picking up the bikes along the West Lake, cross one of Hanoi’s famous bridges over the Red River where quieter roads meet Hanoi’s high rises, visible in the distance.
Continue along this rural setting to the site and legend of Cổ Loa, the first Kingdom of Viet Nam, a place famous for all Vietnamese. During the 3rd century BC it was the center of the civil and military capital of the state. We’ll take you to the main An Duong Vuong Temple, Ngự Triều Di Quy communal house and Princess Mi. Villages. You’ll also discover a unique ancient village, visiting a 280 year-old communal house and the local Phan clan Ancestral House which dates back over 400 years.
Return to our West Lake over the iconic and historic Long Bien Bridge. Completed in 1902, once the longest bridge in Asia made famous once again, this time in the 1970’s during the ‘American war’ as countless bombing raids attempted to disrupt the bridge as a vital supply line.
Half way along the bridge, dismount for a quick explore of Banana Island, an amazing area of quiet farmland in Hanoi’s bustling city named for the thirty species of banana grown there. Rich due to the fertile soil, this island floods each year during the rainy season allowing rich silt to replenish the soil.
Cycle back from the bridge through backstreets and along the city’s lake system before dismounting back at West Lake, then return to your hotel to rest.
Late Afternoon, delve into Hanoi’s craft spirit scene with an exclusive 2-hour tasting experience. Savor four artisanal liquors from local brand Về Để Đi by enjoying expertly crafted cocktails at a local bar, and learn the stories behind each drink from a craft spirit expert— in one of Hanoi’s best hidden cocktail bars
The exploration begins at 16:45 with a transfer from the hotel to a hidden bar known for its masterfully crafted cocktails. A signature welcome drink is served upon arrival, followed by an exclusive tasting session in a private room, where an expert shares insights into the stories, ingredients, and tasting notes of four distinctive craft spirits.
Following the tasting, the bar’s top mixologists create handcrafted cocktails inspired by the sampled spirits, accompanied by curated explanations of their flavours and origins together with a selection of savory snacks to complement the drinks. This morning we embark on a journey south of about 100km/2.5hr to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties dating back to the 11th century. Having been eroded over the millennia, the dilapidated ruins have nearly been absorbed by the spectacular scenery creating a mystical atmosphere that will be sure to titillate your imagination.
After that, head to nearby Tam Coc for its outstanding natural beauty and the scenic karst formations which contribute to its reputation as being the “Halong Bay on land.” Board a small private boat and meander lazily down the peaceful river while passing through a series of caves.
After that, hotel check-in at Nham Village and join in the Bánh Cuốn making class (14:00 – 15:00).
You’ll unlock the secrets to steaming rice batter to create delicately translucent rice rolls. Learn the techniques and savor the flavors of this beloved Northern Vietnamese breakfast dish.

08:30 AM, a private vehicle takes you to Ha Long city for 03hrs travelling on road.

Mooring close to Cat Ba Island, we step on land heading to Viet Hai Village, nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by jungle-cladded mountains. Cycling through this valley offers wonderful insights into the isolated life of the local inhabitants. The community, surrounded by thick forests and mountains, and only accessible by sea, is self-sufficient, cultivating vegetables, fruits, and fishing on the bay. Returning to the ship, we sail to our overnight anchorage spot in Lan Ha Bay. The ship's chef invites you to a hands-on cooking class in the dining room, showcasing local ingredients and the preparation of classic Vietnamese dishes.
Extend the evening by unwinding at the bar with a digestif, or joining the team for some funny squid fishing before retiring to your suite.
